Let me tell you about myself
I see music as a way of living, a wonderful profession where every project is a new challenge to complete.
My name is Jordi Campoy Boada. I am a music producer, pianist, composer and writer.
My father, an amateur trumpet player and great jazz lover dragged me to the municipal conservatory of music in Sabadell when I was 9. Here I learned music theory, classical piano and harmony.
Later I studied jazz, modern harmony and combo at the Blue Train school, under Valentí Adell and Paco Wett. I have also studied Film Scoring with Joan Albert Amargós and Sergi Vergés, and analogue synthesis at Acusmática.
Over my years of experience, I have been lucky enough to produce songs in many musical styles: pop, rock, classical music, electronic music, folk, urban music … which have given me enough of background to consider myself a good professional.
In collaboration with Ten Productions, I have participated in a great number of records and television programmes, I have worked with artists from all over the world and I have composed lyrics for dozens of them.
As a writer, I studied creative writing with Francesc Miralles and screenwriting with Enric Folch.
In 2019 my first novel, “La noia del violoncel” (The Girl with the Cello), was published, and in 2021, “La cantant de fado” (The Fado Singer), both published by Columna Edicions.
